  1. Step#1

    Custard powder, sugar, and 125ml (1/2 cup) of milk should be combined in a medium saucepan to form the custard. until smooth, whisk. Continue whisking as you add the remaining milk slowly. Cook, stirring often for a further 2 minutes until custard slightly thickens. Stir over medium heat until custard thickens and comes to a boil. Get care of the heat. Add the chocolate, then whisk it until it is smooth. The custard should be moved to a big bowl and left aside for five minutes with frequent stirring to let the heat out. Wrap plastic wrap across the surface, then chill for two hours.

    In the meantime, cut 12 rounds from each sponge cake using a 4.5cm round cutter. Save all of the scraps. Spread coconut out on a platter and place white chocolate in a small bowl. A sponge round should be coated on the front with melted chocolate before being dipped in coconut. Place coconut-side up on a tray. Repeat with the remaining coconut, chocolate, and sponge rounds. Set aside for two hours.

    When it's time to put everything together, combine the cherries, juice, and sugar in a big bowl. Stand for 20 minutes, stirring once in a while, or until a small amount of more liquid forms in the bowl's base.

    Around the bottom of a 16-cup trifle dish, arrange a row of the coconut sponge pieces. Over the dish's bottom, put the center portion of the remaining sponge pieces. Sprinkle half the cherries and half the liquid over the leftover sponge.

    After loosening the custard with a whisk, spoon it into the prepared dish. To create a uniform layer of custard, spread it with the back of a spoon. Place the remaining scraps in the middle and the remaining bits of coconut sponge around the edge. the juice and leftover cherries on top. For at least two hours or up to six hours, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.

  6. Step#6

    The cream should be whipped to high peaks just before serving and topped with cherries. Sprinkle Rafaello, crushed Flake, Caramilk Baubles, cherries, and pistachios on top, and pour caramel sauce over everything to finish it off. Serve.
